We handle brake repair, maintenance, and replacement. The brake hydraulic system works because force applied at one point is transmitted to another point using an incompressible fluid, usually an oil. Most brake systems also multiply the force while this happens.
Brake rotors are a crucial part of the braking system which stops your vehicle. Brake rotors, or brake discs, makes your vehicle's brake pads clamp down which stops the wheels from spinning.
Vibration may indicate that you need an alignment, for better control and gas mileage, same for air pressure of your tires.
Should you change your brake fluid? Some car manufacturers include it in the maintenance, others do not. Unless required, we recommend waiting for 30,000 miles or do it with other brake work.
Replacing the fluid is cheaper than replacing brake lines or a master cylinder, so follow the recommendations for your vehicle.
If you hear noises or your brakes feel different, call Kirby’s Garage, for an inspection or for brake repair service.
